(2/11) WONKY FOR GOOD REASON
Tether yourself to something that matters
Wonky. What a word. Only Skunk comes close in naming a thing so aptly. In this episode Benita and Peter revisit themes from the prior show with Cindy Gallop while working through our mutual wonkiness and sharing how we identify what's causing it and what, if anything, can be done when wonky strikes. Join us with your wonky!
(2/10) WE STAN CINDY GALLOP
Some stars burn brighter.
Rolling into this show, we felt so many powerful emotions—Cindy Gallop has been and remains a huge influence on us both. It was important that we nail it. Fortunately, Cindy never misses and there's never a bad time to talk about Make Love Not Porn, never a bad time to hear about it from her or champion it yourself. In this episode we discuss its "accidental" origin, how the platform works, and what MLNP could be with a little bit of help (talking to you VCs) for a world desperate for it (even if a good chunk still don't readily recognize that fact).
Kick back and get your ass kicked (mentally). It's just what Cindy does and we're so grateful to have had her on!

(2/9) It’s All About the juju
juju. just say it and see.
We strive for all shows to feel good and authentic and our guest, Blake Shanley, (who is every bit of all the things she lists on her LinkedIn Profile: Founder | Artist | Wordsmith | Mixed Media Magic Maker | Designer | Creator | Nature Lover | Life Lover | Rosarian | Good Juju Pusher) made that so-so easy for us this go around.
This conversation about her journey from her teens until now was loaded with surprises. Charmed or just a damn good listener? Because when you listen to the universe around you, how can the ride go wrong? If you don't subscribe to juju, we're willing to bet this episode might get you onboard.

(2/8) A DIVINE MADNESS
selling a better future
In a way, this amazing conversation with Deb Morrison began nearly thirty years ago in Austin, Texas and just kept going. And isn't that what the very best relationships always feel like? An endless back and forth where no matter how much time passes in between you pick up right where you left off.
It was an honor to have Deb on to speak about the creative process, transitions, and taking what you know to shape better living for the groups after you.

(2/7) BRING ON THE DOOM
ready or not, here doom comes
Anytime we get a chance to lead off a conversation with addiction and sobriety is a good day. Then we rolled this talk into survival and preparation which was just the icing on the cake. After all, how prepared can you be for anything if you are a drunk? All this and more with our guest Dee Rambeau, a KWVH regular, who has a new show called The Empowered Community that is a must listen for anyone who wants to do better and be more ready for when things don't go as scripted!
(2/6) A PSYCHEDELIC ECOSYSTEM. REALLY.
skeptical or not, psychedelics are coming
Ross Sullivan is a psychedelic integration practitioner turned activist and psychedelic ecosystem thinker. Improving the health and development of individuals and society is his goal. We were honored to have an hour with him to get a 101 on where psychedelics are being used, where they are headed, what they can do in the service of processing trauma, and his journey to creating systems of care around a psychedelic ecosystem.

(2/5) A VOICE FOR VOICES
so much to do, so little time to do it
This conversation with Yulia Laricheva is stuffed with magic. Honestly, in listening back to it, we believe it's a episode that really showcases how creative people think, do, evaluate, and overcome the obstacles in their way. If there is a flag pole to this talk, it's the important work Yulia is doing in her latest pod series on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Womxn. A tough topic that is pushing her own boundaries into journalism as she tries to deliver a piece that informs and inspires action.

(2/4) NO. NOT THAT JEFF CLARK.
CPA -> CFO -> FBI -> LAW
In this episode, we talk with Attorney at Law, J. Daniel Clark. This is a guy who has always said, I'm going to follow my integrity and what's authentic to me, and unlike so many of us, he's made his journey from CPA -> CFO -> FBI -> LAW seem natural. This is an introduction to a human being working behind the scenes for better things for all of us and guess what? He's nowhere to be found on social media. No humblebrags or look-at-me, look-at-me. It's refreshing. And we had a ball talking to him.

(2/3) ALWAYS HAPPY TO HEAR FROM YOU
The Embodiment of You
What could it look like to "Come Home To Yourself?" Confused? Don't be. In this episode, we revisit themes of authentic-self and trust in yourself with guest Tarah Long, who through her own practice, and that of The Source Connection, dares to put you in touch with you—the real you. Can that introduction start with a listen here? We think so! Here are some words to get your excited: Seeker, Ravenous Student of Life, Live From Love, and The Embodiment of You.

(2/2) HE CALLED ME A BUG, AND SO…
Move Like You Were Meant To
In this episode, there is talk of butts. Not a lot, but it's in there. But (see what we did there) what we really get into with our guest Al Conde is a total re-think of fitness. Might be why the business he co-owns is called Re-Think Fitness. Universal Baseline Fitness, and what that means for you, for us all, starts right here on this podcast.
Like always, though, there's a ton packed into these sixty minutes we believe might leave you walking away with a little more spring in your step.
You can reach out to Al Conde for 1:1 training bigalconde@gmail.com
(2/1) OH YEAH, WHO SAID SO?
Live Spooky. Die Spooky.
Our second season of the show starts off in the very best way possible: talking books, creativity, horror movies, dance, taking chances, fears, the power of psycho-prediction, and more with author/publishers Max Booth III and Lori Michelle who own and run the powerhouse indie publishing company Ghoulish Books!
Live Spooky, Die Spooky. Believe it.
(20) THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT OPINIONS
The kids are alright.
Season One wraps up with a little "Take Your Son To Work Day." What a blast to have both AJ and Bodhi on the show to hear their valuable opinions. Kids today are observing more of what's happening in the world than at any other time in history, so it's no big surprise that they have tons to say! Grateful to have them and to have had them, and we hope you enjoy hearing from them.
(19) SEEN
What can happen when we are finally seen?
Name one other podcast where the two words "Pristine Colon" are uttered. You can't, but we dared to go there. What a delight this conversation with director, storyteller, production company owner, and caveman diet-eating documentary filmmaker Ben Steinbauer was for us all. Ben's own recent health scare is relatable on so many levels and his willingness to discuss it and so much more with us is something we'll be forever grateful for!
Read more about Ben at the links below and be sure to check out his documentary Winnebago Man or the documentary he co-directed Chop and Steele that premiered this year at The Tribeca Film Festival.

(18) DEATH BECOMES HIM
Does fear stop us or lead us or both?
In this episode, we race through a ton of amazing topics with author Johnny Compton whose debut novel The Spite House comes out on February 7th, 2023. We talked about fears, writing, his journey to getting published, being quiet on social media and still finding success, where the idea of his debut came from, how BIPOC voices in literature are raising the bar for storytelling, and, of course, spite. It's a chockfull show, but Johnny's calm kept the broadcast from running amok (or at least kept Peter from doing so) and we are just so very grateful for having had him on the show!

(17) A KEEN EYE FOR BELIEFS
Take a picture, it’ll last longer.
The construct of everyday reality is on tap. In this conversation with artist and photographer, Kelly Marshall, we start with her journey and roll into what we (and maybe she) believe allows her to capture the warmth, vitality, and soul of her subjects. We could write 1,000 words, but you'd do better to see her work yourself at the links below. Browse her work as you listen even. As always, we learned a lot. There's a special kick to having on artists and we think you'll feel it!

(16) WHEN ONE TITLE JUST WONT DO
Life is too short to be just one thing.
What do you do with an idea? We all have them, but acting on an "ah-ha" moment can seem daunting. In this episode, we talk—honestly, we vibe—with Raina Kumra, founder of Spicewell, a food industry innovation so simply spectacular, well... tune in and you'll hear how much bigger it is than the product itself. Raina's career spans advertising, tech, media, activism, investing, and so much more. We weren't surprised when we heard about her latest venture, and if you've been feeling magnetically attracted to something possibly new to you, this talk might just help you grab on to it for dear life!

(15) YOUR PEANUT BUTTER JOURNEY
So much goodness in this episode.
Are you at a fork in the road? Are you curious how peanut butter has anything to do with that question? This might be the episode for you!
What a thrill it was to use our return to the airwaves to dive deeper into what Benita regularly does with her clients. Did Peter use the last-minute cancellation of a guest as an opportunity to workshop his next steps? Maybe. He'd prefer to think he'd played the part to help a listener looking for the push they need.
(14) METACRISIS 101
Poo-poo on Growth For Growth’s Sake
Business as usual might just kill us all, but hey, profits, right?
In this episode we talk with Mike Rabin, steward of Corporate Purpose Project. Brace yourself as we try our hardest to walk with Mike through the details of Cultures of Extraction, Cultures of Regeneration, and Facing the Metacrisis now instead of later.
It's not all gloom and doom, we promise, but spoiler alert: later is too late.
Follow and find out more about Mike at the link above or here and here: https://twitter.com/miketheravin https://www.linkedin.com/in/mikerabin/
(13) A STORY ABOUT STORIES
Not storytelling, story-sharing
We all have a story. Scratch that, we all have hundreds. Whether it’s an audience of one or one million, sharing your stories causes powerful reverberations. Connections are made, relationships are strengthened, your story unlocks a memory and tale from another person.
On a personal level, this may seem obvious, but what happens when we work to include story-sharing within the construct of corporate America? A ton of good, that’s what. And our guest, James Warren, CEO and Founder of Share More Stories, is proving it daily.
(12) HEART-CENTERED LIVING FOR ALL
Love, Freedom, and Abundance. Ask Me How.
In this episode, we discuss the organic migration to a sustainable life that revolves around the passions you thrive on. Is it too much to refer to this as Health Care 3.0? We don’t think so and neither do our guests Selam and Stretch who are working to create, foster, and connect us to new systems that will unlock our multidimensional selves.
Did the conversation almost cause a mid-life crisis for Peter? Perhaps. But that’s a true testament to the power in our guests' message and the work they do with The Human Connection.
